4. Orders and Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or unavailability of products. If we cancel your order after payment has been made, we will issue a full refund.

5. Payment

Payments are processed through our payment gateway, CHIP Collect. We accept various payment methods including FPX, Visa, Mastercard, DuitNow QR, GrabPay, Touch n Go, ShopeePay, and Atome, subject to availability. By submitting a payment, you authorise CHIP Collect to process the transaction on our behalf.

We do not store your payment card or banking details. All payment information is handled securely by CHIP Collect in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the estimated timeframe provided at checkout. However, delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including weather, public holidays, and courier delays.

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. We are not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect address information provided by you.

7. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of gift products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what was ordered. If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery at thegiftstory99@gmail.com with your order details and photographic evidence.

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method within fourteen (14) working days.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The Gift Story or its content creators and is protected by Malaysian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, The Gift Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

Our website uses third-party services including CHIP Collect (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and DigitalOcean (content storage). We are not responsible for the practices or policies of these third parties. Your use of their services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
